Biltmore – f/32 Photography Show

Submission Guidelines and Rules:

Must submit your entries by Wednesday, October 28.  Entries may be brought to the meeting on October 14. This is preferred. But if your entry is not ready, it may be dropped off at the firehouse.  You should contact Missy (Show Chairperson) ahead of time if this is to be your situation to get time and directions.

Each paid-up member may submit only two (2) prints.

Print size – No larger than an 11 x 14 print in a 20 x 24 frame.  Smaller sizes are fine.

There are no specific requirements for the type of frame used at this show.   Prints on canvas will be accepted as long as they are properly mounted and ready to hang.

Your print must be properly mounted and framed and should have wire for hanging on the back.  It should be “wall-ready.” No use of “alligator clips” on the back; improperly mounted and framed prints are subject to rejection by the jury.  Print should be in bubble wrap and NO TAPE should be used on the bubble wrap!

WARNING:  If you turn in a beautiful print, but it is poorly framed or is missing the wires for hanging, or is not protected in a bubble wrap, it will be REJECTED.

Theme must be family friendly -  NO NUDES; NO SUGGESTIVE PHOTOS. If you want to make a sale, it is recommended that your print be appealing to the tourists who will be visiting during this time period. But the content is ultimately yours to decide.

You must completely fill out the required information, including the price, to enter your work.  The entry form is attached at the bottom of this announcement.

Please note that there is always the possibility of damage to your entry.

Hanging is on Thursday, November 5.  Take-down is on Monday, January 4. We will be requesting help for these dates.

Biltmore will receive 30% of the sales
